Whether your Thanksgiving is super traditional or more jazzed up, the turkey is always the star attraction. But in my opinion it’s the sides that really make a menu. Here are a few ideas for the perfect Thanksgiving menu that will have your guests’ taste buds cheering for more!
First on the list must be a great homemade applesauce. I make one every year that has turned into a staple. I only wish I had pictures to share this delicious recipe with you. Here is one from The Pioneer Woman that is sure to please.
Next are all the veggies. How about some rosemary roasted carrots, roasted brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes with rosemary, or roasted butternut squash with kale and almond pecan parmesan. They all look and sound delicious.
Thanksgiving wouldn’t be the same without some mashed potatoes. Wouldn’t you agree?
Don’t forget the stuffing! I love a sweet and salty combo like this apple, sage, and sausage stuffing. In fact, I make a similar recipe each year.
And you certainly need a signature drink to wash it all down.
And last but not least on the menu is dessert! Something traditional but served in a non-traditional way will certainly make your guests ooh and ahh.
What sides will you be making this Thanksgiving?
